Title: If I Had Not A Cent About Me(假如我身无分文)
Well, I am a little bit tired of the topic "If I had a million dollars", cos you can never count the chickens before they are hatched!

Please let your imagination take wings. If , right now, you had just graduated from a not so famous college in a mountainous area, and you had come to Guangzhou penniless to find a job. Think of what might happen to you.
想象一下,你是某座山里的一间不知名的大学里刚毕业的,然后身无分文地来到广州找工作。想象一下你怎样去应对,或者你会有什么遭遇。

You can tell me how you feel when you were in such a situation, or you could create a story based upon this, there's still another choice that you can tell me your views about poverty-strickened life.

First, since I graduate from a little college in a mountainous area, I will not go to Guangzhou casually, for one has to know himself completely. I will seriously consider whether I'm capable of earning a living, whether I own a proficient working skill, whether I have enough patience and courage.
Then, if I am confident to work in Guangzhou, I will devote myself to competing with other job-hunters and finding a job in the job market. I will not give up easily.

As I mentioned before, I will not give up easily. I will try every means to hunt a job no matter how people look upon me, although I come from a remote area. Perhaps it is not easy to find a job at first or I just can find a job with very small salary, I will analyse whether I have potential to develop my career in this city and whether I like the life style in the city. Then I will decide whether to stay or leave.

I think I will believe hard working will gain me a big fortune at first. However, then I will find out things is not what I suppose it would be. In fact, I have to work as a labor at a very low position and be sneered by citizens cause I am such a idiot. But thinking of my mother at home, I keep working hard regardless of my health and save every penny sending home. And then I grow old and die pennilessly. At the dying minute, my kid comes to me with his family and says:" Dad, money is not everything. We don't need much to live happily." Suddenly I realize poverty has no only enslaved my body, but also my heart. But I still feel happy since my grad-grad-children are born as a citizen now.

Everyone on this planet is equal. The most important thing to one is to trust his ability, to be confident! The condition of success depends on your ability instead of where you are from.

If I come to a strange place, like Guangzhou, there was no a cent on me. I couldn’t ask for any help, only live independently. Maybe, I was so weak to be dead, but another saying “there is nothing to fear even death(死都不怕还怕活吗)”, what should I fear? So I choose that living in the world. I never cadge along the street. I disdain such an ability person to beg. I have labor to earn money. I will always keep self-esteem in the mind, and hunt a job which housing and meals should be provided, not qualified to demand the high salary. I firmly believe my life will be changed if I was diligent enough.
Well, there is another assumption. In Guangzhou, I come across a rich man who has a handsome appearance and a warm heart. He falls in love with me at first sight. Wow, the romantic story begins.

I think you are right, no matter what result we may get, one thing we should not forget is that we should live on ourselves. But even thought a rich man falls in love with me, it will change much. The felmale now have the opportunity to earn our living by ourselve, we should cherish this opportunity.

Well, as for your thoughts trying to figure out a way to save yourself, I really admire your persistence. We Chinese, I guess, a lot of times, do not fear death, but we fear humiliation. When you first arrived at Guangzhou Railway Station, you do not even have a cent to buy yourself a drink. I am only caring and thinking about the reality, the things that actually happen to you, not sth concluded in a kinda line.
Think about the real situation. When you first arrive at the spot, you are gonna suffer thirst and hunger, and then where to find a job. Even you have noticed "talent wanted", but how are you gonna do it with such a certificate?
Another thing, why I chose the place Guangzhou? Cos Guangzhou is the most exciting city for one to live in, also, it's cruel. Nine out of ten, companies don't provide boarding and eating.
As for your second romantic  imagination, it's quite reasonable. I believe the second one could come true.

If I couldn’t find a job, but I am really hungry and thirsty, what should I do? That is a tough situation. I was forced to make a special decision at the special time. I enter into a small restaurant to eat and drink as ordinary people. You know, I have no a cent to pay the bill. After the dinner, I try my best to persuade the boss to employ me as paying off the debt.

We all live in hope, but the situation I have created is sth like deprived of hope, think about the situation real. How do you deal with the situation, alright.

I am guessing you have read many books as I do. First think about nothing, just enter the restaurant and eat to your satisfaction, then make the owner consider you as an employee. I once read this. Then go on with your story, all right?

Think about  this society, it is already so hard for a university grad to get an ordinary job, what makes it easier for the companies to accept the less qualified certificate, I mean it.

Well, thanks for your reply. I've learned a lot from your views.
I'd never known that calling 110 could send a person back home. But if such a person were in ragged clothes, would the police send you to jail instead of your home?
As for your second point, remember that you are poor, you got no mobile phone, nor do you have a cent to go to the toll phone, and your family is also sooooooooooooo poor, they can't send you any money.
Tough physical work is alright, and thanks for this suggestion.
