why did homosexuality exist? this is kind of psycho-physicological problem.Gay and lesbian are group of auto-gender recognize disorder,or narcissist.describes the character trait of self love, based on self-image or ego.
Sharing love ,because no opposite sex liked them. or their personal glamour attracted each other.

homosexuality and heterosexuality are two kinds of sexual orientations. I think they have coexisted with each other for long. In my point of view, it is far from fashion. First, we are born homosexual or heterosexual, not trained. So there's no choice for us to make. Second, it is definitely something that we can show off to other people, while on ther contrary, in China, the public still express great discrimination to those so-called gays. Therefore, it is hardly possible to become a fashion. Admitedly, homosexuality has hit the top of numerous social topics. It maybe manifests that nowadays people are more open and tolerant than ever. And I think, it is a good atmosphere.

I don't think homosexuality, by nature, amounts to a fashion.   but many homosexuals do work in fashion, model or other related industries and tend to present themselves in a rather flamboyant and fabulous way.   maybe that is why this impression ocurred.

Besides, the fashion you meant is probably due to the curiocity or unfamilarity of heterosexual people.   homosexuality used to be distant and estranged to them, but now they might be the people living next door or in the same working place.  so heterosexual people probably pay more attention to them or talk about them very often.   therefore, the homosexauls become the center of attention and gain more exposure in media spotlight.

also, people are more likely to drool over the fantasy of same-sex sexuality. just like some guys are addicted to girl on girl porn.   now more and more girls, especially teenagers are obssesed with guy on guy romantics.  what's more, girls also want to have a gay BFF so that they could go shopping and talk about cosmetics together while sparing the awkardness or insecurity if with a straight guy.  it is very tempting in a sense.   as we could see, homosexuality has even become sort of an integral part and the selling point of today's films and TV shows.

as for homosexaulity itself, it is a life style based on same-sex orientation. many scientific evidence revealed it has existed for quite a long time, both in human world and animal realm, which could be very convincing support for homosexual rights movement.  homosexuality, unlike some people claimed it to be twisted, diseased, ungodly or shameful, is actually quite a normal phychological phenomenon and healthy mentality.

from the historical perspective, the gay movement is actually claimed to be one of the most successful and productive movements in the 1960s American history turmoil.  civil right movement of the black people and the feminist movement, despite tremendous endeavour and countless sacrifices, actually in a sense never went as far as the gay movement at that time. homosexuality pressed forward quite rapidly in terms of equal rights and social acceptance, probably way ahead than other types of civil right movements.

on a personal level, I don't think there's anything disgusting or humiliating at all about homosexaulity.  regardless of all the racial, sexual, age and cultural background difference, etc., what we should care about is not "who and which sex" we love, but rather "how much and in what way" we will love them.   gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transexuals, heterosexuals, we are ultimately the same in the sense that we all want to love and be loved in this one and only lifetime.
