In my opinions,I think there is no absolutely correct viewpoint.It depends on how you treat the things.Partly we should do like the former,partly we should do as the latter.if we perceive that our own choices are right while don't hurt others,we need to do ourselves and ignore others' disagreement or irony.But if what we do influences others or those are indeed wrong,well,we should care others' comments.
