everyone what you said is right, i was in such a sitituation. but if you want to make a drastic change in your life, i feel that you should have intergrity,independance.and then you will be learned more than others.

i can't bear to live in a strange city.
i finish my university in Shanghai, and many classmates work in Shanghai. i remember when we graduated, graduation office in our university offered me a very good job with higher salary in a large company in Guangzhou. i refused without much hesitation.
i can't imagine to live in a city with no friends. i have to stay at home alone, go shopping alone, do anything alone, what's more, i can't understand the lacal language Cantonese. this is really terrible.

ah... it's a problem.make new friends there for exciting life and  remeber to contact your  old friends  comforting yourself

for one thing,get used to the environment as soon as possible.
for another,make friends with as more people as you can.
last but not least,take active part in more society activities.
