名人作为产品的代言人 Celebrities as Products’ Spokespersons
In the contemporary society, it is very common for celebrities, or the so-called superstars to be spokesperson for a wide variety of products. On the Internet, television, newspapers, magazines and even on the walls of some buildings, you may find celebrities in the advertising posters.
在当代社会,名人,或所谓的超级明星,成为各种各样的产品的代言人,都是很平常的事情。在互联网、电视、报纸、杂志甚至是一些建筑物的墙上,你都可以在广告海报上找到名人。
There are some problems existing in celebrities’ endorsing products. In the first place, some stars may know nothing about the products but still accept the invitation as their spokesperson. To these stars, “Look before leap” is just a saying. In the second place, for the sake of money, some stars advertise for items with low quality, even for fake commodities. They never care about consumers’ interests.
在名人代言产品中存在一些问题。首先,一些明星可能对产品一无所知,但仍然接受邀请作为他们的代言人。对这些明星来说,“三思而后行”只是一种说法。第二,为了钱,一些明星为低质量的商品做广告,甚至是假冒伪劣商品。他们从不关心消费者的利益。
In my view, as spokespersons, celebrities represent the products. They should understand that the products they are endorsing concern their images and consumers’ interests. Therefore, before endorsing products, they should learn about the products as much as possible. Only by doing so, can they be trusted by their fans and protect the legal rights of general public.
在我看来,作为代言人,名人代表产品。他们应该明白,他们支持的产品关注的是他们的形象和消费者的利益。因此,在认可产品之前,他们应该尽可能多地了解产品。只有这样,他们才能得到粉丝的信任,并保护公众的合法权益。
