34：1 列国阿，要近前来听。众民哪，要侧耳而听。地和其上所充满的，世界和其中一切所出的，都应当听。
Come near， ye nations， to hear； and hearken， ye people： let the earth hear， and all that is therein； the world， and all things that come forth of it.
34：2 因为耶和华向万国发忿怒，向他们的全军发烈怒，将他们灭尽，交出他们受杀戮。
For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations， and his fury upon all their armies： he hath utterly destroyed them， he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
34：3 被杀的必然抛弃，尸首臭气上腾。诸山被他们的血融化。
Their slain also shall be cast out， and their stink shall come up out of their carcases， and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
34：4 天上的万象都要消没，天被卷起，好像书卷。其上的万象要残败，像葡萄树的叶子残败，又像无花果树的叶子残败一样And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved， and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll： and all their host shall fall down， as the leaf falleth off from the vine， and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
34：5 因为我的刀在天上已经喝足。这刀必临到以东，和我所咒诅的民，要施行审判。
For my sword shall be bathed in heaven： behold， it shall come down upon Idumea， and upon the people of my curse， to judgment.
34：6 耶和华的刀满了血，用脂油和羊羔公山羊的血，并公绵羊腰子的脂油滋润的。因为耶和华在波斯拉有献祭的事，在以东地大行杀戮。
The sword of the LORD is filled with blood， it is made fat with fatness， and with the blood of lambs and goats， with the fat of the kidneys of rams： for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah， and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
34：7 野牛，牛犊，和公牛，要一同下来。他们的地喝醉了血，他们的尘土因脂油肥润。
And the unicorns shall come down with them， and the bullocks with the bulls； and their land shall be soaked with blood， and their dust made fat with fatness.
34：8 因耶和华有报仇之日，为锡安的争辩，有报应之年。
For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance， and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
34：9 以东的河水要变为石油，尘埃要变为硫磺，地土成为烧着的石油。
And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch， and the dust thereof into brimstone， and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
34：10 昼夜总不熄灭，烟气永远上腾，必世世代代成为荒废，永永远远无人经过。
It shall not be quenched night nor day； the smoke thereof shall go up for ever： from generation to generation it shall lie waste； none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
34：11 鹈鹕，箭猪，却要得为业。猫头鹰，乌鸦，要住在其间。耶和华必将空虚的准绳，混沌的钱铊，拉在其上。
But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it； the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it： and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion， and the stones of emptiness.
34：12 以东人要召贵胄来治国，那里却无一个。首领也都归于无有。
They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom， but none shall be there， and all her princes shall be nothing.
34：13 以东的宫殿要长荆棘，保障要长蒺藜和刺草。要作野狗的住处，鸵鸟的居所。
And thorns shall come up in her palaces， nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof： and it shall be an habitation of dragons， and a court for owls.
34：14 旷野的走兽，要和豺狼相遇。野山羊，要与伴偶对叫。夜间的怪物，必在那里栖身，自找安歇之处。
The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island， and the satyr shall cry to his fellow； the screech owl also shall rest there， and find for herself a place of rest.
34：15 箭蛇要在那里作窝，下蛋，？？蛋，生子，聚子在其影下。鹞鹰，各与伴偶聚集在那里。
There shall the great owl make her nest， and lay， and hatch， and gather under her shadow： there shall the vultures also be gathered， every one with her mate.
34：16 你们要查考宣读耶和华的书。这都无一缺少，无一没有伴偶，因为我的口已经吩咐，他的灵将他们聚集。
Seek ye out of the book of the LORD， and read： no one of these shall fail， none shall want her mate： for my mouth it hath commanded， and his spirit it hath gathered them.
34：17 他也为他们奉拈阄，又亲手用准绳给他们分地，他们必永得为业，世世代代住在期间。
And he hath cast the lot for them， and his hand hath divided it unto them by line： they shall possess it for ever， from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
