Wrong number
Ron had been talking on the phone for about half an hour before he hung up. His father said, "Wow！ That was short. You usually talk for an hour. What happened？"
Ron replied, "It was a wrong number."
Ron打了半个小时电话才挂掉。他爸爸很惊奇:“咦,才打了这么久。你平时不是都打一个小时的吗？到底怎么了？”
Ron回答到:“我打错了。”
Weigh your son
An angry woman burst into the baker's shop and said, "I sent my son in for two pounds of cookies this morning, but when I weighed them there was only one pound. I suggest that you check your scales."
The baker looked at her calmly for a moment or two and then replied, "Ma'am, I suggest you weigh your son."
一个怒气冲冲的女人冲进蛋糕店,对店员说到:“今天早晨我让我儿子来买两磅饼干。但是我称的时候发现只有一磅。我建议您检查一下您的秤。”
店员平静的看了这个女人一会儿,回答到:“夫人,我建议您称一下您的儿子。”
