Unfortunately, I was informed the meeting was cancelled on April 5 and, what was worse, I forgot to cancel the reservation with you until yesterday when the receptionist at your hotel called me for the reason why I did not check in.
I am quite sorry for the trouble I have caused you. And I will give up the ￥50 deposit for your compensation.
