The Olympics are sexy. Paraguayan javelin thrower, Leryn Franco, may be the deadliest beauty at these Games, according to India's IANS News Agency. The athlete is among the most photographed and talked about athletes of the Games so far - and that may not even be for her event.
Leryn is a former Miss Paraguay runner-up and also participated in Miss Bikini Universe competition in 2006.
What about javelin throw? She was 42nd at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and supports her sporting ambition by modelling.
But according to a German radio station, it is Russia's Yelena Isinbayeva that has taken the art of flirting, and the sport of pole vaulting, to unsurpassable heights.
The 26-year-old Russian loves to flirt with the crowd, and she blows kisses, and smiles, the German radio station commented.
"Perfect hostesses outclass sexy cheerleaders at Games", reads a headline of a Reuters news story.
Wearing Chinese silk dresses with their hair pulled back tightly into neat buns, the hostesses are beautiful, and elegant, Reuters commended.
