My Creed 我的信念
I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon – if I can.
我不选择做一个平凡的人，与别人不同是我的权力 – 如果我可以的话。
I seek opportunity – not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me.
我寻找机会 – 不是安全，我不希望成为被保护的公民，受国家照顾而变得谦卑或迟钝。
I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed.
我想冒算计过的险；去梦想去创造，去失败或成功。
I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia.
我拒绝以成功的诱因换取救济金。我喜欢挑战，胜过活着的保证；喜欢实现目标带来的兴奋，胜过乌托邦里了无新意的平静。
I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat.
我不会拿自由交换别人的慈善，或拿尊严交换别人的施舍。我绝不会因任何大人向后退缩，或因任何威胁而弯腰屈膝。
