Out in the forest preserve, a man strolled up to the fisherman and asked whether he’d had any luck.

“No, nothing today, but you should have seen me yesterday. I caught fourteen bass in the morning and another twelve in the afternoon.”

“Well, that’s very interesting. Do you know who I am?”

此词的单复数同形，其他单复数同 形的名词还有 fish, salmon（鲑鱼），deer （鹿），reindeer（训鹿），sheep（绵羊），aircraft（飞行器 ）等等 ，但 goat（山羊）及 airplane（飞机）的复数则分别为 goats 和 airplanes.
5.game n. 游戏（可数名词）；猎物（集合名词，不可数）
例：To Larry, all women are fair game.
（对赖利而言，所有女人都是美丽的猎物。）
