雅思写作：从阅读真题变身写作素材

雅思阅读和雅思写作在教学中虽然属于不同科目，但这两门科目之间的紧密联系显而易见。我在教授雅思阅读和写作的过程中，发现如果学生能够有效利用两者之间联系进行备考，肯定会极大提高学习兴趣，达到事半功倍。
先来看雅思写作的话题分布，请注意这里谈讨的写作只会涉及到写作的Task2（A类考试Task1考查数据描述表达能力，G类考试Task1要求书信写作，都有固定的写作方式， 通过复习短期内能够提高）。不论是A类考试还是G类考试，Task2考查的话题可以用一个简单的公式来表达：PETS+_C(policy, economy, environment, education, technology, social issues and culture)。再来看雅思阅读的题材，雅思阅读的文章类型主要集中在三大类：科普类（包括动植物类）文章，实验研究类文章及商科类文章。通过研究剑四到剑七， 不难发现阅读中很多文章就可以当做写作的素材。雅思阅读文章可谓写作提供大量素材：
剑桥真题4Test4 Reading Passage3: The Problem of Scarce Resources 是关于医疗资源短缺问题以及政府有必要投资医疗基础设施。在文章的一开头，作者就开门见山点明话题：The problem of how health-care resources should be allocated or apportioned, so that they are distributed in both the most just and most efficient way, is not a new one. 在第三段作者明确提出每个人都有权利享受医疗服务，从而证明政府有义务提供有效服务机制: People have a basic right to health-care as a necessary condition of a proper human life. Like education, political and legal processes and institutions, public order, communication, transport and money supply, health-care came to be seen as one of the fundamental social facilities necessary for people exercise their rights as autonomous human beings……the state has no obligation to provide a health-care system itself, but to insure that such a system is provided.
