Which Happiness Is More Fascinating In Your Heart

　　All my opinions are based on a basic fact that I am a poor man, so I have to confess that I am a biased man and can only see one side of the whole matter. I am accustomed to think of the surrounding world in this way, because my thoughts are in accordance with my actual living conditions. I gradually think it's OK for me to observe the world with my own colored glasses, and I want to go on my own way no matter how the world changes.

　　The SARS event has past for about two years, and many people have little impression of it now. I think that SARS is a big punishment from Mother Nature. We have destroyed the environment too much since the industrial revolution. With more advanced technology, we firmly believe that we can conquer the nature, which in fact is a very wrong attitude. It's a poor reality that we have more medicine and less health. If we don't learn a lesson from this terrible event, maybe a more terrible disease would be waiting for us in the future. Only one earth do we have, so we must love and cherish our living environment, otherwise we are going on a dead way.

　　I feel pessimistic about mankind's tomorrow. In my eyes, mankind's desires almost expand to a mad extent, like a rushing train that cannot stop, and isn't it dangerous？ No one can deny this fact that Money talks and morality fades and we are almost drown in too many ugly phenomena. Twenty years ago, politics was dominant in our lives and people were forced to become slaves of politics. But now, money has become the most dominant power in our lives, more and more people put aside love and morality for the fascinating money. With money, we can do a lot of things and enjoy a great deal of pleasure, so we are delighted to be slaves of money and worship the great power of money. It's true that many things can't be done without enough money and money is a very good passport in many situations. Now, we learn to judge a person by his wealth. It's such a strong trend that no one can change this situation. If we want to earn a good living, then we must change ourselves to follow the mainstream of the society, otherwise our survial will be a problem. But I know one thing for certain, some precious things such as friendship, love, compassion and joy, can't be bought with money. In fact, we can see that many rich people are not happy, on the contrary, they feel miserable and empty. They are rich in money but poor in other things, and this is the root of their misery. To make a living, we should find a job and earn some money, but that's not enough and there's a higher goal worth our pursuit. Materiality is the tree, and spirituality is the flower. In my eyes, our lives can't be complete and meaningful without love and trust. It's easy to meet our material needs but hard to satisfy our spiritual needs. It's undoubted that satisfaction of spiritual needs can bring greater happiness than that of material needs. When you buy a beautiful house, you feel happy； when you meet a bosom friend, you feel happy. Please answer me which happiness is more fascinating in your heart？ and I may draw a quasi-right conculsion whether you are a material person or a spiritual person. There are two different ways for us to go, one is for money, and the other is for love. Of course, different choice makes a different life.
