A man died and went to Heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked, "Whatever are all those clocks for?"
他??道:「那些?r?是作什?用的?」
St. Peter answered, "Those are lie-clocks. Everyone on Earth has a lie-clock.
Every time you tell a lie, the hands on your clock will move a tiny bit."

"Oh," said the man, pointing at a clock still at 12, "whose clock is that?"

"That’s Mother Teresa’s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she was totally honest."

"I see," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"

St. Peter responded, "That’s George Washington’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that he told only two lies in his entire life."

"Why this clock point at 11:59, was that man more honest than Mother
Teresa?"

St. Peter replied again, "No, that’s Bill Clinton’s clock; telling that he told lies many times in his leader period. One more lie the clock will point at 12."

"Where’s Chen Shuei-Bian’s clock?" asked the man.

And St. Peter replied, "Abian’s clock is in my office; I’m using it for a ceiling fan!"
