他懂了
Two Americans were travelling in spain.One moring they came into a little restaurant for lunch. They
did not know Spanish, and their waiter did not know English. They wanted him to understand that they
wanted some milk and sandwiches.
At first they pronouced the word "milk" many times. times. Then they spelled it. But the waiter could
not understand them.
At last one of them took a piece of paper and began to draw a cow. He was finishing his drawing, when
the waiter looked at it and ran out of the restaurant. "Do you see," said one of the travellers, "what
a pencil can do for a man who has difficulties in a foreign country?"
The waiter was back again some time after, but he brought no milk.
He put down in front of the two men tickcts for a bullfight.
两个美国人在西班牙旅游。一天上午，他们来到一家小餐馆吃中饭。他们不懂西班牙语，而他们的侍者不懂英语。
两个美国人想让侍者明白他们想要一些牛奶和三明治。
他们说了好几遍“牛奶”，然后又拼写，但侍者还是不明白他们的意思。
最后，他们中的一个拿出了一张纸，开始画一头牛。当他画完的时候，侍者一看便跑出了餐馆。
“你瞧，” 他们中的一个说，“一只铅笔对一个在国外遇到麻烦的人来说多么有用！”
一会儿后，侍者返回来了，但是他没有拿来牛奶。他在这两个人面前放下了两长斗牛券。
