Little Jackie's mother was on the telephone with the boy's dentist.“I don't understand it，”she complained，“I thought his treatment would only cost $10，but you have charged me $40”

杰克的妈妈在给杰克的牙医打电话。“我不明白，”她袍怨地说，“我以为他的治疗费只需10美元，可你要了我40美元。”

"It is usually $10，madam，"agreed the dentist，“But Jackie yelled so loudly that three of my other patients ran away.”
