它们还是"名字"吗?
如同“陈世美”在中文里就是“负心郎”的代名词，美国俚语中大量的表达方式中也涉及了名字。由于政治，历史，宗教，文化，日常生活的原因，姓名演义在英文交流中的应用既频繁又生动。现小举几例如下：
1.We can pay you $300 a week， minus 10% for Uncle Sam of course. Uncle Sam： 美国政府。
2.When Nancy was younger， she was a plain Jane； now she was a really Betty. plain Jane：相貌平常的女子，Betty： 美女。那么一般普通的男子呢？Plain Joe.

此外诸如Achilles" heel（致命弱点），Narcissism（自恋癖）， Trojan（勤劳的人）， Cinderella（丑小鸭）……… 等来自与神话传说或小说故事的姓名演义更是比比皆是。若能在与“Native English Speaker” 实际交流中加以巧妙运用，无疑会让让你的口语增色不少。
