“About four hours，” was the quickly reply.
“Why，he told us he’d been there a long time，” said the caller.
“Oh，yes，” answered the ex-employer，“He’s been here two years.”
一家公司的人事部门正在核查一份求职函的真实性，工作人员找到了函中提到的旧雇主，并问他：“这个人为你工作了多久？”
旧雇主马上回答：“大约四个钟头。”
工作人员有些吃惊，“什么？他说在你这里好久的。”
旧雇主说：“哼，不错，他在这里呆了整整两年。”
